Why should you skydive in Honiton?
Well, if the views of the scenic south coast from 10,000 or even 15,000 feet aren’t enough for you to finally get your skydive booked in, think about the freefall at speeds of 125mph before the parachute is released. You will be attached to a member of our highly qualified team who will do all the work, which means you can focus on the sensation of it all, and enjoy those spectacular views.
The entire skydive from jump to landing on the ground only lasts a few minutes from start to finish. Suspended in freefall, time seems to freeze and a few seconds can feel like a few minutes or longer. Reaching those fast speeds during your fall is definitely up there in terms of reasons to go skydiving, but those high speeds are followed by the glide to landing where it will slow right down and you can take it all in.
How much does it cost to skydive here?
For the 10,000 feet drop, it costs £290. This includes our own registration fee of £70. If that’s not high enough for you, you can opt for another 5,000 feet and jump from 15,000 with a surcharge of £79.
You also have the option of fundraising for a charity which means you’ll be able to skydive for free, as long as you raise £395 for one of the charities we work with. There are more than 3,000 of them so you can select one for a cause that’s close to your heart.
What are the facilities like at the Honiton airfield?
This airfield is flexible. They’re open to skydivers on Thurs, Fri & weekends. Weekday possible for group. If you want something to remember our skydive by, you can opt for a hand cam video for £79. Other video options are available at more prices.
At Honiton, you can skydive safely if you weigh 18 stone or less. If you weigh between 15-18 stone, just be aware that there will be a surcharge of £20 per stone.
