So you’ve got a group together – maybe your friends, family or colleagues – and you wonder how a group skydive works? We’ve broken the process down and answered all your burning questions:

  1. Do we have to book all together?

If you wish to all book separately, then all you need to do is add each other’s names under the section ‘group members’ on the booking screen. Simply write in the names of those you wish to jump with, and we can group you all together. Otherwise, you can book all together by selecting how many people you are booking for and entering their details. If you book separately, individuals will be paying their own deposit but, if you book together, the sole booker will be responsible for paying for everyone else’s.

  1. How do we secure the same date?

Once the booking process is complete, you will all be asked to sign up to our portal where you will need to submit certain information. Once this is complete we will take a look at your requested date and airfield and get back to you with a confirmation should there be availability. We will work with you to make sure you all secure the same date.

For groups of 7-10 there is a possibility that we can reserve these spaces for you in advance, please get in touch with us at info@skylineevents.co.uk to find out more.

  1. How do we fundraise as a collective?

It is possible to set up a group fundraising page if it is preferred, this is very popular for office and corporate groups. You can name the page whatever your group name is and add the participants to the page who it covers. If you are short the fundraising target, we will contact the group to find out who will be paid for in advance and who will need to pay on the day, (if any). Otherwise, you can all fundraise separately as usual. You will still have the same individual fundraising targets if you jump as a group but you can add them all together to give yourselves a group target if your prefer.

  1. How does it work on the day?

  2.

Depending on the airfield and date, you will either all be given the same arrival time or different times but an hour apart. Once you arrive you will hand in your medical form and undergo a brief training session. When the time is right, you will go to complete you skydive. Airfield planes can hold from as little as 3 participants up to 10. You can enquire with us to find out if you will all be going up in the same plane.

The bottom line is, skydiving with a group is no different to skydiving solo, you just need to find the right thrill seekers to do it with! Now that’s out of the way, click here to get started.
