How much?

If you wish to jump for charity, the minimum sponsorship is just £395*. However, if you wish to take part in a skydive without raising money for charity, the costs will vary. Durham is £305, Grange-Over-Sands is £300 and Bridlington is £270.

How high?

Whilst being strapped safely to your instructor, Durham offers a variety of heights to jump from. The standard jump height being between 10,000ft and 13,000ft or if you’re a thrill seeker, you can upgrade for an additional fee of £30 to jump from 15,000ft. At Grange-Over-Sands, experience a free fall reaching speeds of about 120mph after jumping from up to 15,000ft. Finally, at Bridlington you can experience your skydive from 10,000ft and free falling at 120mph.

Can I get it filmed?

There is no better way to relive a memory than through videos or photos! See below for prices:

Durham – At Durham airfield you can capture your jump with videos and photos. These prices start from £100 so please pop us an email to enquire about their different packages.

Grange-Over-Sands – Your skydive can be filmed for just an extra £95 which is payable on the day of your jump. The filming will include your pre-jump excitement, journey in the plane and the skydive itself including the free-fall, landing, and your post landing reactions.

Bridlington – Bridlington require you to pre-book this service but you can still pay on the day. For the handcam the cost is £80 or if you wish for the free fall camera, this will cost £120.

Skyline works with 3 locations near Newcastle:

Durham – Northeast of Newcastle, you can travel down the A19/A1 to reach the airfield in 35 minutes and in 23 miles. This is the nearest airfield to Newcastle. If you are travelling by train, you can go to Horden station and it’s a 12-minute cab to the airfield.

Grange-Over-Sands – Southwest of Newcastle, you can travel down the M6/A69 to reach the airfield in just 2.5 hours and in 110 miles. If you are travelling by train, you can go to Cark-In-Cartmel station and it’s a 5-minute cab to the airfield.

Bridlington – Southeast of Newcastle, you can travel down the A171/A19 to reach the airfield in just 2.5 hours and in 100 miles. If you are travelling by train, you can go to Bempton or Bridlington station and it’s a 10-minute cab to the airfield.
