How much does it cost to skydive at Whitchurch?
Your jump costs £320 and this includes our £70 registration fee. Alternatively, you can jump for free if you choose one of the 3,000 charities we work with to fundraise for. You’ll need to raise £450 for the charity to jump for free.
Will I get photos or videos of my jump?
If you’d like something to remember your skydive by or have something to show your friends and family, you can prebook to purchase a video/photos of your dive from £100.
When can I skydive at this location?
The Whitchurch airfield is open to skydivers on Fridays and Saturdays. You can dive all throughout the year as long as the weather allows you to.
How high will I jump from and how fast will I fall?
A tandem skydive means you’ll be strapped to one of our qualified instructors. You’ll be jumping together from a height of approximately 10,000 feet. Initially you will be falling from that aircraft at speeds of up to 125mph. This is the most exhilarating part. The endorphins released at this point are the reason that divers come back time and time again.
After this initial freefall, when the parachute is opened, you will slow right down and find yourself gliding through the sky at slower speeds. This is where you can take in the views of Whitchurch. Your instructor will be doing all the work so you’ll be able to simply focus on the experience.
Are there any weight or height restrictions?
As long as you weigh 15 stone or less and you are within the airfields own height to weight ratio limit, you can skydive here.
Can I skydive with others?
You’ll be skydiving alone while safely strapped to one of our licensed instructors. Many of our customers want to share the experience with friends or family though. We completely understand – taking the jump can be an enlightening and life-changing experience for many, so doing it with a loved one for a charitable cause that’s close to you both, or on an occasion like an anniversary, a 50th birthday or even just to celebrate life with, can be truly special. You can book individually, in pairs or in groups.
